WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Teams comprised of up to five (5) undergraduate students enrolled for the Fall 2024 semester at a university or college within the Southwest region. Each team should be supervised by a Faculty Advisor who is a current member of SWACJ.

All team members and their Faculty Advisor must be registered for the 2024 Annual Meeting in order to compete.

Teams may not include professional, reserve, or former peace officers or crime scene technicians, regardless of student status. Any team found in violation of this condition will forfeit placement status and will be disqualified from competing in the following year's competition.

PROCESS:

Teams will photograph, sketch, and document a processed crime scene.

​

GRADING CRITERIA:

• Gathering Actionable Intelligence

• Crime Scene Processing

• Evidence Collection

• Report Writing
